Anne’s 15 years of experience in health care communications includes work in the hospital, health authority and non-profit sectors. Her skills include communications planning, writing, editing, media relations, issues management and fund development. Her background in nursing contributes to her sound understanding of medicine, patient care and health research.
Prior to her current role, Anne was VP Strategic Communications & Donor Relations at St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation. She served as the first Director of Issues Management at the Provincial Health Services Authority.
She has also held frontline and managerial communications roles at Children’s & Women’s Health Centre of BC. Anne began her working career as registered nurse at teaching hospitals in both England and Canada. She holds a Diploma in Journalism from Langara College in Vancouver.
